All Adorn Jewellery, accessories and glass art is designed and created at my studio in Medway. A vibrant collection of new, old and very old, with castles, forts, a cathederal, ancient woodland, a rich naval history and the influence for many a Charles Dickens novel, all threaded along the mouth of the river Medway. Along with these treasures, the diverse mix of people to be found here provide endless sources of creative inspiration.

What started in May 2007 with some simple designs of beaded jewellery, has evolved in to something more design-led and individual. With the purchase of a kiln, a new obsession with fused glass and silver art clay developed. This allowed me to experiment with different methods of combining glass and silver, to create unique and vibrant pieces of wearable art! And of course the learning never stops, so a 2nd kiln, silversmithing lessons, copper foiling and leading, bronze and copper clay....... all adds up to a diverse range of products and creativity.

Much of my glass work involves the use of dichroic glass which has an amazing ability to reflect and transmit different colours as light hits it from different angles. Developed by NASA for the space program, I'm so pleased it found its way into the warm glass world for us jewellery makers to experiement with! As I learn more about the nature and possibilities of glass and metal, I am excited by what may appear next time I open the kiln door ~ do pop back often to see for yourself!!
