POSTAGE -
All items in the shop have postage and packing automatically added at checkout. Currently this starts from just £1 for smaller items. Each additional item payed for in the same transaction will cost just 20p extra. I am able to discount postage in this way as long as all items are paid for together. If the checkout does not appear to discount your postage, I will refund the appropriate amount as soon as possible.
All Items are sent by royal mail 1st class, and proof of postage is always obtained. Purchases over £50 in value will be sent by recorded delivery and may incur a small additional charge. If you want your items sent by recorded delivery regardless of total value, please e-mail for a quote first.
OVERSEAS POSTAGE -
We are happy to arrange postage to overseas customers. Please e-mail for a quote before making your purchases. We will try to keep the costs as low as possible.
PACKAGING -
All items are presented wrapped in tissue paper or in an organza bag and in a black card pillow wallet. Sterling Silver Rings and cufflinks are sent in padded ring & cufflink boxes as appropriate - hense the higher cost of postage & packing for these items.
For safe delivery, they are posted in a bubble-lined envelope and if delicate, yet more bubble-wrap is added for extra protection. I take the utmost care in packaging my work, and all packaging should be sufficient for the journey.
BREAKAGES & RETURNS -
In the unfortunate circumstance that any items reach you in less than perfect condition, please e-mail or phone us straight away. We will try to sort out any problems if we can, but be aware that as soon as items are posted, we cannot be responsible for their transit. If they are damaged within the mail system, there may be means of claiming damages from Royal Mail, which we will be more than happy to assist with.
FAULTY ITEMS -
All Adorn jewellery & accessories are thoroughly checked before leaving our workshop. However, if a fault develops within 3 months of purchase, we will endeavor to repair or replace. Any cost of return postage will be at the expense of the customer.
PLEASE NOTE THAT GLASS IS FRAGILE and all jewellery and accessories should be treated with the utmost care.
All fused glass items have been properly annealed for strength, and all joints, connectors and clasps are fitted as securely as possible & are more than sufficient for general use. Extreme pressure or tension, water and extreme heat can affect the life-span of your purchases. Some items, such as rings, key-rings, phone charms etc are more susceptible to wear as they are 'thrown about' on a daily basis or easily knocked, so please be careful - we cannot be responsible for repairs or replacements due to mis-use.
